I went to visit my dear relatives in the SunwayMas managed condominium in Section 9 Shah Alam. The elderly couple (a cheerful 84 year old man and his beautiful 79 year old wife) greeted me with hugs and kisses and immediately showed me the attached notice from their building managers. They were worried that the management will conduct a WATER CUTTING exercise right before Hari Raya.
"Water Cutting Exercise"? To threaten to cut someone's water supply a few days before the biggest festival in a person's lives is UNCONSIONABLE.
In the present reality of Malaysian socio-politcal environment, such insensitivity it downright dangerous. It would not take much for someone to ask: "Would SunwayMas threaten to cut water supply a few days before Chinese New Year?".
A quick glance at SunwayMas' website revealed that they profess the following CORE VALUES:
1. Excellence - We Excel In All We Do.
2. Integrity - We Fulfill What We Promised.
3. Caring - We Care For Our Staff And Customers.
4. Knowledge Sharing - We Share Knowledge And Experience To Grow Together
WHAT A JOKE!!
I would strongly suggest that SunwayMas please SCRAP YOUR CORE VALUES, as the way you are treating your residents in Section 9 Shah Alam is so far off from what you say, its not even funny.
Perhaps the following CORE VALUES would be more appropriate:
1. Cruel
2. Heartless
3. Money is Everything
4. Better you than me.
Wake up SunwayMas. If you keep this up, despicable people like Ahmad Ismail will have more ammunition to shoot from their dirty mouths.

I believe there are always two sides to a story.
If bills are unpaid, it is the management's prerogative to act accordingly.
Whether it is heartless, cruel, greedy or above us is really a matter of perception - something that the company is obviously ready to ignore/forego.
